5 Beautiful Christmas Books

It’s coming up to that time of year. And, from December 1st, I like to start my Christmas reading.

Last year I read, The Santa Klaus Murder and enjoyed experiencing Christmas at the same time as the characters. (Though, thankfully, the real Father Christmas was not suspected of murder!)

This year I’ve a few more books to read and all of them are collections of short stories. Perfect for dipping in and out of as you have a cuppa and a breather.

I decided to chat about them and show them in more detail on my YouTube channel. If you’d like to subscribe to my channel I’d be most grateful! I’m rather enjoying talking to camera – it makes a change from writing so much. I’m in awe at how other YouTubers talk so seamlessly, though – hopefully I’ll get better the more I do.

As well as The Santa Klaus Murder I talk about:

Christmas Days by Jeanette Winterson

A Merry Christmas by Louisa May Alcott

Round the Christmas Fire

A Snow Garden by Rachel Joyce

For more Christmas book ideas I’ve added some to my sidebar – both adult Christmas books and children’s.

Do you have any favourite Christmas books? What are you going to read this year?

All such beautiful books! Round the Christmas Fire is a favourite of mine (I adore Emily Sutton’s illustrations), but I must pick up Christmas Days – it looks delightful! xxx
